Installation Instructions:
- Remove the original rear sight
- Install the Glock red dot mounting plate by sliding it into the original dovetail sight mount. This operation might require pressing the mount into place or using a rubber hammer.
- Install and tighten the hardened HEX expander screws on the top of the dovetail mounting plate. Make sure the screws are tight enough to sit flush with the mounting plate. Do not over-tighten
- Place your optic onto the mounting plate.
- Secure the optic with two hardened HEX screws by tightening them down to the recommended 12 inch pounds of torque.
- We recommend that you use Blue Loctite to prevent the optic from loosening due to recoil.
Please note! This mount will not work with fake RMR/SRO optics
This Glock dovetail optic mounting kit will not fit and is not suitable for the Glock MOS models

I bought a RDS Dovetail Mount from Versa Tactical to see if I can skip the expensive machining and refinishing on my Glock 17 aftermarket VDI Brawler Slide.
Shipping was very fast and upon receiving the item, I laid all parts on the table to check if all is complete. And it is.
I have already removed my front and rear sight and with a polyurethane hammer and a vice to hold the slide,
I had to drift the VT mount on the groove of the rear dovetail.
It took a few blows to Center the mount, nothing to worry about since the bottom of the mount has a clear centerline guide.
Once all is lined up, I placed the screws which have blue Loctite on them and put in my Holosun 507 Competition Optic.
I checked if there’s any play or movement and the mount is super snug.
I would recommend this setup if you want to save a little on the cost of machining of your slide. This one works as described.
